When Gino Rael & The Mighty Nice Band came to us with the idea of doing a Latin Jazz show to celebrate and honor the Cinco de Mayo holiday, we started working on it right away! Join us for a very special “Tequila & Jazz” on Wednesday, May 5th! This one-night special with Gino Rael and The Mighty Nice Band will be a Latin Jazz / Funk show, feature mezcal cocktails from Banhez Mezcal, and a portion of proceeds will be donated to NEWSED.

About Gin & Jazz:
Gin & Jazz is a community-driven Jazz Series that champions and celebrates artists who embody and carry forth the Five Points jazz legacy in modern-day Mile High. The Series centers around supporting local community musicians and ensembles who embody and champion the historic “Harlem of the West,” culture from the 30s, 40s, and 50s. We are proud to team up with Tracks and Ageof.Us to help us shed light on the city’s historic Jazz legacy and continue this series through the summer!
In addition to $5 Gin Craft Cocktails & $3 Beer Specials at the bar, we also have a specialty CBD Seltzer menu sponsored by Swig, where a portion of proceeds go directly to helping us pay our musicians each week! We will also have mezcal cocktails from Banhez Mezcal available for purchase on our Artist Appreciation Menu! If you’re interested in adding any VIP amenities to your Gin & Jazz experience, we also have special add ons available at the door. Attendees are also able to order food from their table and explore educational resources that highlight the history of Five Points.
Tickets are $20 per show and there is a two-drink minimum.
